Valentine's Day Shakeology Recipes


HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL YOU OUT THERE!!!!

Looking to celebrate the holiday with a sweet treat. Try one of these 7 recipes to get your morning going. All from the teambeachbody website!

1. Strawberry Valentine -
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
½ cup ice

Preparation:
1. Place almond milk, Shakeology, strawberries, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.


2. Double Berry Shakeology -
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1 cup ice

Preparation:
1. Place almond milk, Shakeology, raspberries, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.


3. Neapolitan Shakeology  -
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/3 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
1/3 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1/3 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 cup ice

Preparation:
1. Place almond milk, Shakeology, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.


4. Choco Cherry-Licious Smoothie -
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
½ cup frozen unsweetened black cherries, pitted
½ cup ice

Preparation:
1. Place almond milk, Shakeology, cherries, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.


5. Strawberry Sea Salt Shakeology -
1 cup nonfat milk (I will use almond milk)
1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology
1 dash sea salt
1 cup ice

Preparation:
1. Place milk, Shakeology, salt, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.


6. Tiramisu Shakeology Smoothie -
1 cup brewed coffee, chilled
1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
1 Tbsp. mascarpone cheese (or part-skim ricotta cheese)
1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp. pure rum extract
½ cup ice

Preparation:
1. Place coffee, Shakeology, cheese, cocoa powder, extract, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.


7. Chocolate Mocha Mo
4 oz soft tofu
1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 Tbsp. all-natural almond butter
1 medium strawberry, sliced (for garnish; optional)

Preparation:
1. Place tofu, Shakeology, almond milk, and almond butter in food processor (or blender) and pulse until smooth.
2. Place mousse in a medium serving bowl; garnish with strawberry if desired.

There are so many that look amazing!!!! I am not sure which one I want to try. Maybe it will be a two shake kinda day!!!!

Strawberry Kiwi


In honor of the newest flavor (strawberry) to join the Beachbody family, I decided to try a recipe from the calendar.


 
 
 
-packet of strawberry shakeology
 
-1 cup of water
 
-1 kiwi cut in cubes
 
-ice (as much or little as you want)
 
-blend together and enjoy

Morning Egg Bake

Since moving out and buying a home, I have to say I have been trying to become quite a little Suzie Homemaker. But breakfast in my house is always my GO-TO vegan chocolate Shakeology. And I can't really say I have perfected my cooking skills, but I am trying. This weekend I wanted to make something different. This recipe is simple & easy and you add anything you would like to.

Ingredients:

  1. 12 eggs (I used about 3 whole eggs and the rest egg whites)
  2. 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  3. cooking spray
  4. unlimited amount of veggies (I had spinach, onions, zucchini, & green peppers)

Prepping:
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
  2. Coat the baking dish with the cooking spray
  3. Add the veggies; evenly throughout the pan
  4. Whisk the eggs, almond milk, (salt & pepper if desired) in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture of the veggies
  6. Bake the dish for thirty minutes or until the eggs are set.
Enjoy your breakfast!!!

1/2 Chocolate 1/2 Vanilla

I tried a new Shakeology receipe today and for anyone who knows me, you know that I love to stick to my one recipe and thats about it. So this is a step out of the comfort zone and now I don't know what to call it... 

Ingredients: 
-1/2 scoop chocolate shakeology 
-1/2 scoop vanilla shakeology 
-1/2 banana 
-1 tbsp of honey 
-little bit of water or almond milk (your choice)
-handful of ice 

                Blend and enjoy!

Eggs with smoked turkey



Ingredients:
1 large egg
3 egg whites 
1 dash sea salt
1 dash cayenne pepper
2 slices low-sodium, nitrite-free smoked turkey breast, chopped
1 tsp. cheddar cheese
1 tbsp of salsa  (if you like to add color to your food like me) 
Nonstick cooking spray

Directions:
1. Combine egg and egg whites in medium bowl; mix well.
2. Season with salt and cayenne. Add turkey and cheese; mix well. 
3. Heat medium nonstick skillet lightly coated with spray over medium-low heat. Add egg mixture; cook, stirring frequently, for 3 to 4 minutes or until eggs are set. 

Calories: 214 fat: 6g saturated fat: 2g cholesterol: 197mg sodium: 718 mg carbohydrate: 18 g fiber: 0 g sugar: 2 G protein: 21 g

Fried Ice Cream Shakeology

 



YES!!! It does get this good. A couple of coaches have been posting this receipe for awhile now and they say its a favorite?? So of course, better late than never decided to give it a try..... YUM!! Seriously I can NOT believe I didn't try this sooner!!! Give it a go!

Ingredients:
1 Scoop Chocolate Shakeology
1 tsp of cinnamon 
1 tsp of honey or agave nectar 
1 tbsp of all natural pb
1 cup of almond milk (or water) 
Ice 

Blend it all together and drink up!!!!
